Functions of Animal Cell

Animal cell has many organelles that carry out different functions essential for the survival of cell.

Cell Membrane

As observed in the labeled diagram of animal cell, animal cell membrane formulates the confining element of cell and it covers the cell elements together and provides the shape and forms. The cell membrane is located outside of the cell. Moreover, the cell membrane is composed of lipids and proteins and formulates the obstacle between the extracellular liquid bathing cells on the exterior and the cell organelles floating in the cell's cytoplasm. The hydrophilic leads the lipids edges outwards whereas the tails of hydrophobic occupy the space between two lipid layers. Various types of proteins are enclosed in the membrane including channel, transport, receptor, recognition and electron transfer.

Cytoplasm is fluid material that is present outside of the nucleus and within the cell membrane into which numbers of cell organelles are spotted. The jelly substance is composed of dissolved nutrients and assists various components move across the cell through a process called cytoplasmic streaming.

Cell Nucleus

The cell nucleus is a round shaped body includes a nucleolus, chromosomes with DNA and some other organelles using a nuclear membrane. This nucleus is composed of fully specialized cell organelles that look out the storing the hereditary material (DNA) of cell and co-ordination of various cell activities such as protein synthesis, cell division and growth. Experienced  assignment writer are available online.

Nuclear Membrane

The nuclear membrane has DNA within the nucleus and it allows the protein and mRNA through.

Animal Nerve Cell

Functions of Specialized Animal Nerve Cell

A nerve cell, the specialized animal cell, is a very long cell in length. The cell body is found in either the spinal cord or brain. Nerve cell is also called neurons and each neuron possesses a cell body or composed of long attachments called axons, which carry out the nerve impulses whereas shorter attachments that is called dendrites, obtain impulses. In animals, nerve cells transmit messages from one part to another part of body and carries out directions throughout the nervous system of animal.

Animal tissue

Muscle Tissue

Muscle tissueis composed of'excitable' cells that are able to conduct contraction. Among all types of cell in animal body, muscle cell is the most abundant in the most animals. The muscle tissues in animal body facilitate the movement of the animal by the means of contraction of single muscle cells, which is also called muscle fiber. There are three types of muscle fiber in animals such as skeletal, smooth and cardiac. For assistance

Nervous Tissue

Nervous tissue is the animal body is responsible for sensing the stimuli. It transmits the signals to and from various part of an animal’s body. Their function is carried out in integration of stimulus and control of response to the stimulus. The nervous tissue consists of two main cell types including neurons and glial cells. Neurons transmit messages of nerve. Glial cells remains in direct contact with the neurons and mostly stays around them.
